Beyond the Badge, a Not for Profit charity commenced in 2019, to support members of the first responder community prepare for a career transition following their distinguished service to community and country.

 

Our charity was founded by Simon Bradstock & Sean Haran, both former First Responders following the passing of a work collegue, a former Law enforcement and Military specialist, family man, and "brother" to his work collegues.

Following CJ's passing, we committed to create an innovate & "safe" environment that would provide first responders with a "safe space" to discuss and explore opportunites and pathways to an alternative career opportunity.

Accordingly, we now offer a professional development career transition workshop to current and former members in a safe, confidential, and interactive format using both "face to face" and "remote learning" platforms to engage.

We also advocate on behalf of the first responder community, to business and government through showcasing the benefits and opportunitites of employing a first responder given the significant and unique skillsets they have developed within a "high risk, time critical, and safety sensitive" working environment.​
